Detailing and paint enhancement

Get your new or old car better than showroom standards!
Whether it’s a brand new car, a newly purchased used car or your own loved car I will usually be able to enhance the gloss level and make it look better than the day it left the factory! Over time your bodywork gets pelted with contaminants that bond to the clear coat causing a rough feel. Gloss levels disappear due to uv rays and general chemical contact along with poor washing practices causing swirling on the paint (especially noticeable on dark colours).
New cars are not exempt of this, I can prove it! They will almost certainly be contaminated with iron fallout bonded to the paintwork as well as not having the full gloss level they can achieve due to manufacturing time constraints and poor dealership preparations (manufacturers can’t have someone polishing 1 car for 2 or 3 days like I can).

All contaminants must be removed completely before machine polishing to correct swirling and hazing (not just covering it up with fillers/glazes) before applying expensive coatings (ceramic) This is essential to achieve the durability claims, this applies to any last stage protection that is applied. So please don’t waste your money on new car dealership protection packages.

*Deep scratches (through the clear coat layer) cannot be corrected.

Before any detailing takes place I will conduct a complimentary site visit and assessment of the vehicle under inspection lights and discuss the level of correction and finish desired, I will then provide a detailed personalised quote.

As ‘best practice’ I will always recommend the enhancement detail whenever possible, as this is the least intrusive and only go to full correction when necessary. I will not work on any questionable areas/panels that get flagged after completion of a paint depth audit.

Wheels and arches receive a snow foam pre-wash followed by ph neutral wheel cleaner before a full contact wash.
Pre-wash snow foam applied to car exterior and left to dwell
Super soft detail brushes used to clean all external crevices, then rinsed
Contact ‘strip wash’ carried out to remove old protection then rinsed
Intense scrub to glass
Door, boot, bonnet, filler cap shuts and scuttles all cleaned
Gutters and drain holes unblocked and cleaned
Corrosion inhibitor applied to brake discs
Wiper blades de-greased
Fallout remover applied to all exterior bodywork followed by another wash and rinse

Single stage machine polishing carried out to body work to remove fine marring/swirling and enhance the gloss

Tyres and arches dressed
A ‘lite’ ceramic coating applied to all external surfaces providing 6 months plus durability, high gloss levels, extreme hydrophobicity and protection from the elements.

You get everything you get in the enhancement detail with the addition of more compounds and stages used with the machine polisher to correct and then refine the paintwork finish.

Convertible roof deep cleaned and protected £60
Recommended once per year

Roof is deep cleaned to remove all traces of road film, dirt, organic matter, mould and mildew by hand using a cactus hair brush and a safe water based biodegradable cleaner
This is then rinsed before being allowed to fully dry before applying a protection coating to form a hydrophobic surface and bring back the lustre
